The typical steps involved in HFFS Packing Machine process
- Film Unwind: The machine starts by unwinding a roll of flexible packaging material (usually a multilayer laminate) from a reel.
- Forming: The machine forms the film into the shape of a pouch with a pre-attached spout. The spout is usually placed at the top center of the pouch.
- Filling: Once the pouch is formed, the machine fills the product through the spout into the pouch. The filling mechanism can be either volumetric or weight-based, depending on the specific requirements of the product being packaged.
- Spout Sealing: After filling the pouch, the spout is sealed to prevent leakage and ensure the product’s freshness and integrity.
- Top Seal: The top of the pouch is then sealed, completing the pouch enclosure.
- Cutting: The machine cuts the pouch from the continuous film roll, separating it from the next pouch to be formed.
